Tu Delft @ Dutch Design Week

Problem
For the first time, the Technical University of Delft was preparing to exhibit at Dutch Design Week. They needed a clear and memorable brand presence that could stand out in the busy environment of Ketelhuisplein while communicating the university’s innovative spirit.

Approach
Working closely with the programme coordinators, we designed a system that mirrored the exhibition’s three-stage layout: Dream, Discover, Design. This concept guided everything from branding and exhibition graphics to supporting marketing materials, ensuring the identity reflected both structure and creativity.

Solution
The resulting visual language tied together the physical space and its communications into a coherent whole. The branding elevated Tu Delft’s presence at Dutch Design Week, giving the university a strong platform to showcase its design culture on an international stage.

Brand Concept & Identity Development: Created the overarching theme “Dream. Discover. Design.” to anchor the university’s first appearance at Dutch Design Week.

Exhibition Design System: Developed a visual framework that mirrored the three-stage layout of the exhibition, ensuring clarity and cohesion throughout the visitor journey.

Collaboration & Coordination: Worked with Tu Delft programme coordinators to align branding with curatorial intent and logistical requirements.

Cross-Media Application: Delivered branding, exhibition graphics, and marketing materials, producing a consistent and recognizable presence across the event.
