adidas Harden Vol.5

Problem
adidas wanted to elevate the digital presentation of signature footwear releases. For the Harden Vol. 5, the challenge was to create an in-app experience that went beyond static product pages, giving fans a richer sense of performance, detail, and innovation in a mobile-first environment.

Approach
Working with adidas’ internal design studio, Studio A, we designed custom app layouts tailored specifically to Harden Vol. 5. Content capture—both video and stills—was planned in parallel with the interface, ensuring the visuals aligned perfectly with user flows. This allowed us to highlight key product features such as material flexibility and on-court grip in ways that felt immersive yet intuitive.

Solution
The final experience marked a step forward in adidas’ approach to interactive product storytelling. By merging product design, motion, and layout into a unified digital framework, Harden Vol. 5 set a benchmark for how performance footwear could be presented inside the adidas app—balancing brand storytelling with clear, functional product communication.

Product Experience Design: Created custom in-app layouts for Harden Vol. 5 that pushed beyond traditional e-commerce templates.

Content & Interface Integration: Coordinated video and still capture with app design to showcase material innovation and performance features.

Collaboration & Development: Partnered with adidas Studio A to ensure visual storytelling aligned with technical and brand requirements.

Digital Storytelling Evolution: Delivered a scalable framework that advanced how adidas presents signature footwear in its app environment.
